The Doering family began in the automobile and fleet business in 1924. Through the 1970's, Joseph "Buzz" Doering Jr. operated a leasing company and eventually became the largest auto dealer in the state of Wisconsin. Buzz eventually sold the dealerships in the early 80's and focused on his management consulting firm, specializing in the leasing and fleet management segment of the automotive industry.
In 1989, Joseph "Chip" Doering III opened the doors of Doering Leasing Co. To this day, Doering continues to grow annually serving the needs of fleets of all sizes.
